Dr. Pete Spalitto has a varied background both in experience and education. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Truman State University before attending the University of Missouri at Kansas City Dental School. During his time at UMKC, he served as class Vice President and was involved with the Honors Endodontics Program. After graduating with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2000, Dr. Spalitto served as a Captain in the United States Army. While in the Army, he participated in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program, which provides additional concentrated learning in specific areas, such as root canals, braces, oral surgery, and many other complex procedures. During his active duty, Dr. Spalitto was able to apply his knowledge in his treatment of soldiers worldwide, including Korea and Iraq.

This experience, in addition to his more recent work in private practice in Kansas City, MO, and continuing education through professional organizations, gives Dr. Pete the understanding and knowledge to treat most dental needs you or a family member might have. His approach is comprehensive— rather than specializing in one particular treatment or procedure, he has concentrated on developing the skills needed to treat the whole spectrum of dental health needs that arise throughout a person's life. Dr. Spalitto is also committed to continually learning about the most recent advances in the dental field. He participates in the St. Louis chapter of the Seattle Study Club, is a member of the Greater St. Louis Dental Association and is a delegate for the Missouri Dental Association.

In his spare time, Dr. Pete enjoys spending time with his wife, Susan, and their daughter, Olivia. If he isn’t working on one of his many household improvement projects, you can often find him out on the golf course or enjoying time at the family farm.

Debbie Meadows, Front Office Manager, is the friendly face that welcomes you to the office. She has been dedicated to West County Dental for over 12 years. She helps patients schedule appointments, assists with insurance matters, and can generally answer any questions you may have about the office! Debbie is married and has three children. She looks forward to working with you in your goals toward dental health.

Deanna Stranz, Dental Assistant, has over 15 years experience as a member of the West County Dental team. Her responsibilities include front office assisting, sterilization, and overall office organization. In her spare time, she enjoys boating and fishing as well as spending time with her grandkids.

Lori Trimpe is a Registered Dental Hygienist with 20+ years in dentistry and joined the West County Dental team in May of 2005. She enjoys using her clinical skills to ensure life long dental health, patient education, and periodontal care. She lives in St. Charles with her husband, Tracey, and sons Jeremy and Adam.
